The circus has been historically a marginal society that entertains a public protected within the margin, within the law. Exiles, outlaws, freaks, artists and, in general, anyone who feels oppressed by their family and social context, becomes part of the circus. All of them have been forced to abandon their past and, by the way, get rid of their identity in order to integrate a society outside their old law.

The migration of these subjects from one system of laws to another manifests a struggle that has always existed between the individual and the law. Between an imposed abstract duty and a subject whose impulses crash and transform before those pillars of duty. The law is the limit and the stumbling block in the path of the artist in the circus; It is the obstacle that confronts him with the problem of identity.

El circo ha sido históricamente una sociedad de carácter marginal que entretiene a un público resguardado dentro de la margen, dentro de la ley. Exiliados, forajidos, freaks, artistas y, en general cualquiera que se sienta oprimido por su contexto familiar y social, viene a ser parte del circo. Todos ellos se han visto obligados a abandonar su pasado y, de paso, deshacerse de su identidad para poder integrarse a una sociedad por fuera de su antigua ley.

​La migración de estos sujetos de un sistema de leyes a otro manifiesta una lucha que siempre ha existido entre individuo y ley. Entre un deber abstracto impuesto y un sujeto cuyas pulsiones se estrellan y se transforman ante esos pilares del deber. La ley es el límite y el tropiezo en el camino del artista en el circo; es el obstáculo que lo enfrenta al problema de la identidad.
